3D Birthday Ecards

What makes an ecard "3D"

Most ecards are a flat picture, sometimes with a short animation playing on top. A 3D ecard is built differently. The scene is made of separate layers placed at different depths, so a character can stand in front of the background, a balloon can drift toward you, and the card itself can open like folded paper.

The result feels closer to a pop-up card than a picture in an email. You notice it on a phone as much as on a large screen, because the depth and movement do the work rather than the size of the image.

Every card has three pages, in the same order every time. That structure is what lets a digital card feel like something you hold rather than something you scroll past.

1. The front: the big moment. This is the moving 3D scene the recipient sees first.
2. The inside left: a gift card, on cards that include a gift page, or a decorative 3D continuation of the front.
3. The inside right: your written message, with your video message if you add one, or a 3D variation of the card's own front if you don't.

No page is ever left blank. If you skip the video, the space is filled with a piece of that card's own artwork in 3D, not a generic placeholder.

What you can personalize

We design the card; you make it personal. The artwork, movement and layout stay as designed, so every card arrives looking the way it should. The words are yours.

• The recipient's name and your name.
• Every piece of text on the card, including the greeting and the message. Each card comes with real, ready-to-send wording, so you can change as much or as little as you like.
• Whether to add a personal video message.
• Whether to add a gift card, on cards with a gift page.
• Whether the card plays its music.
• When it arrives: send it now or schedule it for the day.

How the recipient opens it

The recipient gets a private link. Tapping it opens the card straight in their browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There's no account to create and nothing to download. They see the front move, open the card, and read your message.

While you're preparing the card, the preview never plays music by itself; you decide whether the delivered card has music. If you add a video, the card's music pauses while the video plays, so your voice is never competing with the soundtrack.

A 3D birthday ecard is $4.99. Adding a personal video message is $2.99. A gift card adds a $2.99 service fee plus the gift amount you choose, or $4.99 for video and gift together, plus the gift amount. The gift's value is always shown separately from our fees.
