3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • SMS Message Delivery: We use recipient phone numbers solely for the purpose of delivering the requested birthday greeting or gift you have scheduled . Messages are transactional in nature—one message per scheduled gift.

  • Service Communication: To send you confirmations, delivery updates, and respond to your customer service requests.

  • No Marketing Use: We do not use phone numbers for marketing, promotional campaigns, lead generation, or cold outreach . Recipients receive only the messages you have specifically scheduled for them.

4. SMS Messaging and Consent

Single-Message Service
Our service sends only one message per scheduled gift unless the recipient affirmatively opts in to additional communication. Message frequency varies based on the number of gifts scheduled for each recipient .

How Consent Is Obtained
By providing a recipient’s phone number through our platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have a personal relationship with the recipient

  • The recipient provided their phone number to you voluntarily

  • The recipient would reasonably expect to receive a birthday greeting from you

  • You are authorized to provide their number for this sole purpose 

Opt-Out Instructions
Recipients may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Upon receiving an opt-out request:

  • We will send one final message confirming the opt-out has been processed

  • No further messages will be sent to that number

  • Standard opt-out keywords (STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT) are honored automatically 

Re-opt-in
Recipients who have opted out may resume receiving messages by replying START or providing new consent through the original subscriber .

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do Not Sell Your Information

  • Service providers who assist in gift delivery and fulfillment (e.g., shipping partners, product vendors)

  • Twilio, our SMS delivery partner, solely for the purpose of transmitting messages 

These third parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they perform on our behalf .

Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

We retain recipient phone numbers and personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected, including for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Proof of opt-in consent is retained as required by applicable regulations .

For Subscribers (Those Scheduling Gifts):

  • You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time

For Recipients (Those Receiving Gifts):

  • You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP

  • You may request that we delete your information by contacting us

9. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
