• You’ll then be presented with a screen to link Premier Sports to your TV.
• First reset your broadband router.If on Sky broadband hold the Reset on the back of the router until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds).
• Set the DNS to the Gateway addess and the hub will forward the requests to Sky’s DNS.
• Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.If you are on Sky Broadband with the new Sky Max router then you need to connect it as if it is a 3rd party router.If you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

I had done everything, and I have just gone through the whole thing again,  but still I only get the app window to pop up and say looking for update and then close down on me, so th all is still not working. Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. 888starz Have done diagnostic test s and told broadband is OK to the house. This had happened after I’d tried the Windows Trouble Shooting and it had suggested running in Compatability Mode.

Also other users have reported that port-forwarding does not work reliably. However, the interface in the app is not fit for purpose. The user-interface of the Gigafast+ hub is seriously deficient. Has anyone else noticed that their WiFi is slower and not as reliable since the introduction of the latest WiFi from sky?
